About me
My Design Values
🤝
01 Collaborate, Always
Good design doesn't happen in a vacuum. I love talking and ideating with others and I’m always looking for opportunities to learn about the world so I can info-dump at the water cooler.
🧐
02 Be intentionally curious
Whether it's how to optimize your dishwashing routine or learning the immense complexity of mail logistics. Being excited and intentionally curious about the world around me is fundamental to who I am.
🤩
03 be silly, be kind
My favourite feedback is that I am the reason why my coworkers come to office. I believe that listening with an open heart and with a touch of humour makes the world better. I am always interested in fostering a happy team.

My Story
Good design makes good business
Growing up, I was always finding ways to make money. From freelance illustration to a really sketchy loan operation, I learned a great deal through the multi-faceted experience of setting up and running a business. I realized from my experiences in business classes and competitions, that I wanted to do more than make slide decks, spreadsheets, and promises.
I wanted to make ideas tangible.
After a decade long stint as a freelance illustrator and experiencing creative burnout, I discovered UX design and fell down the rabbit hole in my second year of undergrad. While many artists seek to break the constraints of their mediums, I found creative liberation in the constraints of UX design. The problem statements behind UX solutions gave my work purpose, and within that purpose I rediscovered what it felt like to be passionate again.
Solving a tough business case through design — whether through product, service, or process — came naturally to me and I'm always excited to collaborate on new projects and would love to hear from you. Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions!
Illustration
I do animal portraits by day, design merch and illustrations for private collectors at night. Ask for my pen name if you're curious!
Plant Hoarding
I'm a big collector of dirt. Previously I've collected rare aroids and orchids. Now my obsession is with hoarding hybrid roses.
Video Games
Playing games with friends is a daily ritual of mine. Currently balancing Baldur's Gate 3 and Black Myth Wukong.
